Leave options: Members with substantial family responsibilities and challenges need the option to prioritize self and family care at critical times in life. Robust options for care-related leaves would ensure members can attend to their family responsibilities in order to bring their full capacity back to work.
Promotion criteria: To ensure that we cultivate a vibrant, diverse environment at King’s, we need to support excellence equitably. Therefore, KUCFA is working to ensure that our promotion criteria and processes recognize the many forms of scholarship that faculty do and the different ways that members contribute to the university, in teaching, research, and service.
